Reading, saving money, minimalist lifestyle!

1) Reading has brought two major turning points in my life.

The first time was in the year I graduated from university, when I came across an autobiographical novel called 'Heaven for Three'. What do you think about this?

The author shared the story of how she and her husband came to Shenzhen with 2000 yuan after graduating from graduate school and started working hard from scratch. What do you think about this?

What I like is not their inspirational stories of success from scratch, but the love for life that runs through the book. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Before this book, I was a gloomy, pessimistic, and somewhat self pitying person.

I complain about the unfairness of life and lament that I was born into the wrong family.

I don't know how to love and cherish myself, but I hope someone can come to redeem and love me.

That person certainly did not fall from the sky, and I have also lived a gloomy life for over 20 years. Don't forget to share your experience!

This book opened a window in front of me.

If others don't love me, I can love myself.

Life is dull and boring, I can create richness on my own.

So, I startedLearn to love yourself and care about your inner self; I also startedTake the initiative to explore life and step into it.

Then I became the person I am today - positive and optimistic, living seriously, knowing how to love oneself, and often bringing joy to those around me. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

In the words of my college classmates, the current me has undergone a 180 degree transformation from the past me.

The second turning point was in 2019, when I read 'Little Dog Money'.

At that time, I had just bought a house and my savings were almost depleted, causing me great anxiety.

But my side job encountered a bottleneck and had no choice but to stop operating.

I am very confused about where to go next.

It was this book that ignited my interest in financial management and helped me find a new direction.

I took the initiative to self-study accounting fundamentals.

I understand what real assets are and what non-performing liabilities are?

I even dare to invest in index funds.

These knowledge and experiences not only accelerated my family's savings progress, but also provided me with a rich accumulation of my second side job. Don't forget to share your experience!

Reading, for me, is not just entertainment, nor is it just about enriching my knowledge. It has even transported my life! Have you tried this before? Share your story!

2) Saving money was the third turning point in my life.

My husband and I are both very ordinary people, and our abilities are not outstanding either.

So even if the company repeatedly lowers salaries, the gentleman dare not resign easily.

And I have been unemployed for a while, but still haven't found another job.

But we bought a house in Guangzhou by ourselves in 2019, and now we have paid off more than half of the mortgage. Don't forget to share your experience!

The quality of life has improved several levels compared to renting a house.

All of this stems from us starting to save money after getting married.

By saving money, we force ourselves to work hard and increase our income.

By saving money, we have rethought our lifestyle and lived a healthier life, but we have spent less money.

By saving money, we also think clearly about the life we want.

Is it to work overtime to buy more things, or to reduce material desires for a life without overtime.

After much consideration, I still prefer the latter.

In short, I've found that it's not an exaggeration to say that saving money has opened up another chapter in my life. Have you tried this before? Share your story!

3) Minimalist lifestyle and love for life are the fourth turning points in my life.

Although minimalism did help me save a lot of money.

But I started being minimalist, not really to save money.

I was just scared by my own 'collection'.

Then learn from the pain, rethink and define your relationship with the object.

When I saw that I couldn't wear or use all these things, my obsession with owning items suddenly disappeared.

And when I no longer pursue owning more items, I have more time to live with my heart.

I can use the time spent organizing and tidying up to make delicious food.

I can use the shopping selection time for running and exercising.

I can use the time that is constantly consumed by the abundance of items to spend with my family or myself. Don't forget to share your experience!

I also made a modest contribution to environmental protection.

I stillHaving more money allows for savings.

Minimalism has taught me more about life and made me love it even more!
