When I was about to graduate from college, I fell seriously ill.

It really scared me and caused me a lot of trouble.

Since then, I have decided to go to bed early.

The standard I set for myself is to go to bed at 10:30 at night.

Most of the time, I can do it.

Whether it's my colleagues or friends around me, every time I hear about my bedtime, they say——

Are you still a young person?

You have already lived the life of an elderly person!

Later on, I fell in love with saving money and minimalist living, and I realized that my lifestyle became more like that of the older generation. What do you think about this?

What's even more frustrating is that I actually quite enjoy this simple life and don't think there's anything wrong with it. Have you tried this before? Share your story!

1) In my opinion, the most comfortable thing every day is to go to sleep!

I can't even understand why I used to dislike sleeping.

I am willing to use my sleep time to do other unimportant things.

I happen to be doing the opposite now, there's nothing worth exchanging my sleeping time for.

Previously, a fan friend asked me how I managed to avoid using my phone at night.

It's actually quite simple, I just prioritize sleeping over playing with my phone.

I basically won't touch my phone after 9:30, and I won't even bring electronic devices into my bedroom.

So, when I entered the bedroom, there were hardly any factors that disturbed my sleep, and my body and brain quickly sensed that I was going to sleep. What do you think about this?

And I also relax myself and fully enjoy the time of sleeping, which is the most comfortable thing of the day. Have you tried this before? Share your story!

2) I am willing to spend the most energy cooking at home by myself!

Cooking is a creative and relaxing activity for me.

Cooking for oneself also means eating healthier, cleaner, and saving money along the way.

I am 100% willing to spend time and energy on myself.

My friends often tell me that cooking for myself requires time and cost, which is not cheaper than ordering takeout.

I have recently gained a new understanding of 'time cost'.

The blogger also talked about money and said: When we talk about time costs, the underlying message is actually that I want to save time on this matter and do more important and meaningful things. But what if this thing itself is a positive life experience, the thing we want to do? Time is no longer a cost. What do you think about this?

Cooking is the more important and meaningful thing for me, so this time is no longer a cost, or in other words, this time cost becomes zero. Don't forget to share your experience!

3) My biggest change is quitting late night snacks.

This is also a chain reaction after going to bed early.

Speaking of which, eating late night snacks is not healthy.

When your body needs rest, you are still adding burden to it and making it work, which is a bit unfair. Do you feel like an unscrupulous boss? Don't forget to share your experience!

We need to rest after a day of work, especially for our organs.

So, after dinner, I haven't eaten any food except for drinking water for many years.

Oh, by the way, skipping late night snacks can save money on a meal, it's great!

4) My most environmentally friendly action is to bring my own when I go out.

Sir has done this better than me.

Every time we go out, he is very conscious of bringing water, fruits, umbrellas, and so on.

Especially after he has developed his muscles, he is very willing to bear the weight throughout the entire process.

Last time we went to Foshan with friends, when he took out water from his bag and handed it to me, my friends were shocked: you actually brought your own water. What do you think about this?

But this is already our habit of going out.

I really feel like I'm becoming more and more like an old school person.

5) The thing I enjoy the most is having time to read and exercise every day.

This is the only time of the day that truly belongs to oneself.

Read to observe the mind, exercise to observe the body.

The road of life is long, and you must take time to take care of your body and mind.

This is hard to buy with a thousand dollars.

No matter how busy I am, I will always take this time to enjoy myself.

This may be something that sets me apart from the older generation.

I always put myself in the most important position at any time.

So when Li Xingliang said on the variety show that he hoped Maimai would put himself first, I instantly nodded.

No, we should put ourselves first, take care of ourselves first, and then care for others.

No love or affection should make us lose ourselves.

6) I'm not afraid to say, my strongest skill is being thrifty and managing the household.

This is the same as the older generation, but also different.

Similarly, I also enjoy a frugal lifestyle.

What's different is that my frugality doesn't have that sense of scarcity, unworthiness, or cheapness.

I won't settle for the essential parts; I can ignore the non essential parts directly, which can reduce a lot of hoarding and waste. Don't forget to share your experience!

Living a simple life like the older generation is actually quite beneficial.

Having a healthy body, a rich life, a full wallet, and not feeling empty inside is already a good life.
